■ 전시 소개

김선영 조각가는 일상의 오브제를 예술적 형태로 재해석하여 새로운 시각적, 감각적 경험을 선사합니다. 이번 전시는 기존의 미술관이나 갤러리에서 벗어나 백화점이라는 열린 공간에서 작품을 선보이며, 일상 속에서 자연스럽게 예술을 마주하는 특별한 경험을 제공합니다.

작가의 대표작인 ‘가방’과 ‘반지’ 시리즈는 단순한 사물의 형태를 넘어 인간 존재의 본질과 관계성에 대한 깊은 탐구를 담고 있습니다. 익숙한 사물이 조각 작품으로 재탄생하며 무심코 지나쳤던 일상의 순간에 새로운 시각과 상상력을 제시합 니다.

■ Exhibition Overview

Sculptor Kim Sun Young reinterprets everyday objects into artistic forms, offering a new visual and sensory experience. This exhibition, featuring approximately 40 pieces, breaks free from the traditional museum or gallery setting and expands into the open space of a department store, allowing visitors to naturally encounter art in their daily lives.

Kim’s signature works, the “Bag” and “Ring” series, go beyond the physical form of objects, deeply exploring the essence of human existence and connection. Through her sculptures, familiar objects are reborn as artistic symbols, providing fresh perspectives and imagination in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
